Health Department Provides outpatient mental health services for the chronic mentally ill, and children at risk of being removed from their homes. (See Life Crisis Center for additional services, listing below). Juvenile Services & Victim Restitution Provides case status information and monitors collection and disbursement of restitution in juvenile cases. Life Crisis Center Serves: Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties. Provides both individual and group counseling for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence as well as emergency shelter for domestic violence victims. Provides group therapy for batterers and both crisis intervention and short term individual and group counseling for sexually abused children. Division of Parole and Probation Social Services Provides child and adult protective services. accepts and investigates reports of suspected child abuse. Provides services and referrals for abuse children, adults and their families. Provides financial and placement services. Offers counseling services.
