Central Maryland Correctional Facility Announces Employees of the Month for October, 2011
TOWSON, MD (Nov. 14, 2011) – Central Maryland Correctional Facility (CMCF), located in Sykesville, MD, chose three employees of the month for October, one from each shift.
Officer Nahkita Evans, of the 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift, has demonstrated exemplary performance as the facility’s Property Officer. Evans, who has an outstanding work ethic, has made great strides in improving the operations in the Property Room. Officer Evans has worked for the DOC since July, 2005.
Officer Michelle Stokes, from the 3 to 11 p.m. shift, willingly accepted the post of Acting Duty Sergeant and performs those duties at a high standard. Officer Stokes eagerly volunteers for additional duties. She is also the 3-11 Sanitation Officer and performs her duties with pride while remaining fair, firm and impartial with the inmates who work on the sanitation details. Officer Stokes has worked for the DOC since March, 2010.
Officer Sean Crow, of the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift, joined the DOC in May, 2004. Officer Crow conducts thorough searches that have decreased the introduction of contraband into the facility. Crow possesses excellent leadership skills and displays fine work qualities along with a good work ethic.
Central Maryland Correctional Facility serves the citizens of Maryland by providing inmates a secure environment; program opportunities in the areas of cognitive behavioral management; substance abuse treatment; and employment readiness in preparation for successful re-entry into the community.
