Correctional Officers to Host Annual Santa Party and Breakfast at East Baltimore School, Friday, Dec. 7 at 9:30 a.m.

TOWSON, MD (December 6, 2012) --- Correctional staff from the Metropolitan Transition Center in Baltimore will host their annual Santa Breakfast Party at Sts. James and John School, an elementary school surrounded by seven correctional facilities in East Baltimore.

The staff at the prison provide (and serve) hot food, give each child a book, and help Santa Claus pay a visit. Oh, and Santa is a correctional officer, by the way---but donít tell the kids.

The effort is designed to remind the children that correctional officers care. The kids may see several thousand uniformed people daily entering and leaving the prisons and pre-release centers that are right down the street from their school.
