Inmates at the Maryland Correctional Institution in Hagerstown off Roxbury Road are continuing a 15-year tradition of helping the homeless.

Shady Brook Farms donated 350 turkeys and inmates helped unload them from a truck on Friday.

They'll be prepping the turkeys that will be donated to the Bea Gaddy Center in Baltimore to help feed the homeless on Thanksgiving Day.

Last year the Bea Gaddy Center served over 40,000 meals on Thanksgiving and is one of the largest events of its kind on the East Coast. Inmates say they look forward to serving people who need help.
