Our Towns: Nearly Ten Tons of Trash Picked Up

SALISBURY -- The city partnered with the Department of Correction through the Maryland Safe Streets initiative to clean up trash along local railroad rights-of-way.
A group of supervised inmates worked with Public Works to remove nearly 10 tons of trash from College Avenue to Naylor Street.
Alleyways within the city, Mitchell Pond and Coty Cox branch are on the city's list of other areas to clean.
