MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONAL SERVICES 2000 Chevy Cavalier This 2000 Chevy Cavalier was provided by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for the purpose of carrying the drug and violence prevention message across Maryland. A result of a true partnership between State and local communities, D.A.R.E. 1 was refurbished and painted by Ron's Towing, Inc. of Essex, MD in a gesture of community spirit and support for this youth program. To complete the package, Maryland Correctional Enterprises, Inc assisted in the final design of the graphics, then produced and applied the decals and body wrap. D.A.R.E. 1 is used by the State D.A.R.E. Coordinator's Office in traveling the state, including visits to local schools and community events for optimum program exposure.
